【摘要】:1.1Thisstandardestablishesaclassificationofbuildingelementsandrelatedsitework.Elements,asdefinedhere,aremajorcomponentscommontomostbuildings.Elementsusuallyperformagivenfunction,regardlessofthedesignspecification,constructionmethod,ormaterialsused.Theclassificationservesasaconsistentreferenceforanalysis,evaluation,andmonitoringduringthefeasibility,planning,anddesignstagesofbuildings.UsingUNIFORMATIIensuresconsistencyintheeconomicevaluationofbuildingsprojectsovertimeandfromprojecttoproject.Italsoenhancesreportingatallstagesinconstruction-fromfeasibilityandplanningthroughthepreparationofworkingdocuments,construction,maintenance,rehabilitation,anddisposal.1.2Thisclassificationappliestobuildingsandrelatedsitework.Itexcludesspecializedprocessequipmentrelatedtoabuilding'sfunctionalusebutdoesincludefurnishingsandequipment.1.3TheClassificationincorporatesthreehierarchicallevelsdescribedasLevels1,2,and3.presentsamoredetailedsuggestedLevel4classificationofsub-elements.1.4UNIFORMATIIisanelementalformatsimilartotheoriginalUNIFORMATelementalclassification.UNIFORMATIIdiffersfromtheoriginalUNIFORMAT,however,inthatittakesintoconsiderationabroaderrangeofbuildingtypesandhasbeenupdatedtocategorizebuildingelementsastheyareincurrentbuildingpractice.
