【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverswroughtstainlesssteelfittingsforpressurepipingapplications.1.2SeveralgradesofausteniticstainlesssteelalloysareincludedinthisspecificationGradesaredesignatedwithaprefix,WPorCR,basedontheapplicableASMEorMSSdimensionalandratingstandards,respectively.1.3ForeachoftheWPstainlessgrades,severalclassesoffittingsarecovered,toindicatewhetherseamlessorweldedconstructionwasutilized.Classdesignationsarealsoutilizedtoindicatethenondestructivetestmethodandextentofnondestructiveexamination(NDE).Table1isageneralsummaryofthefittingclassesapplicabletoallWPgradesofstainlesssteelcoveredbythisspecification.TherearenoclassesfortheCRgrades.Specificrequirementsarecoveredelsewhere.1.4Thisspecificationisexpressedinbothinch-poundunitsandinSIunits.However,unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicablex201C;Mx201D;specificationdesignation(SIunits),thematerialshallbefurnishedtoinch-poundunits.1.5ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.6Thisspecificationdoesnotapplytocaststeelfittings.AusteniticstainlesssteelcastingsarecoveredinSpecificationsA351/A351M,A743/A743M,andA744/A744M.
