【摘要】:Thepurposeofthisdocumentistoprovidethecomputationalsolidandstructuralmechanicscommunitywithacommonlanguage,aconceptualframework,andgeneralguidanceforimplementingtheprocessesofcomputationalmodelV&V.Tothisend,thereaderwillfindaglossaryofterms,figuresillustratingtherecommendedoverallapproachtoV&Vactivities,anddiscussionsoffactorsthatshouldbeconsideredindevelopingandexecutingaV&Vprogram.Tomaximizethevaluetotheengineeringcommunity,thePTC60committeechosetowritefromtheperspectiveofV&Vforhigh-consequencecomputationalpredictionsofcomplexengineeringsystems.However,theguidanceprovidedhereisalsoappropriateforsimplerapplications,recognizingthatsmallerbudgetsandlowerriskswillreducethescopeoftheV&Veffort.Also,whiletheconceptsandterminologypresentedhereareapplicabletoallappliedmechanics,thefocusisoncomputationalsolidmechanics.
