【摘要】:Oversizeparticlesinaprintinginkmaydamageaprintingplate,plugacell,cloganozzleandadverselyaffecttheappearanceofprintedinkfilms.Finenessofgrindmeasurementsareusefulfordecidingwhentostopthedispersionprocessandfordeterminingifthetestmaterialmeetsspecificationsasagreeduponbetweenthesupplierandthecustomer.1.1ThistestmethoddescribestheprocedurefordeterminingthefinenessofgrindofprintinginksusingaNPIRIGrindometer.Itevaluatesthesizeofthelargestparticlesinafinisheddispersionbutnotaverageparticlesizeorconcentrationofsizes.1.2ThistestmethodcoversbothmanualandautomaticdrawdownsusinganA1scraper.1.3Thistestmethodisapplicabletoanydispersionthatisfineenoughtofallwithinthe0-25mrangeofthespecifiedgrindgauge.Withaminorvariationinprocedure,itisapplicabletobothpaste(nonvolatile)andliquid(volatile)inks.Note18212;The0-25mgaugespecifiedinthistestmethodissimilarinprincipletothe0-100mHegmangaugedescribedinTestMethodD1210andthevariousgaugesdescribedinISO1524:2000.Sieveanalysisforconcentrationofparticlesabove45miscoveredinTestMethodD2067.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
