【摘要】:ThispartofISO22090specifiestheconstruction,performanceandtestingofgyro-compassesastransmittingheadingdevicesrequiredbychapterV,SOLAS1974(asamended).ATransmittingheadingdevice(THD)isanelectronicdevicethatprovidesinformationabouttheship'strueheading.InadditiontothegeneralrequirementscontainedinIMOResolutionA.694(17)towhichIEC60945isassociatedandtherelevantstandardforthesensingpartused,theTHDequipmentshouldcomplywiththefollowingminimumrequirements.WheretheIMOperformancestandardsthatapplytothesensingpartdonotspecifyageographicaloperatingareathattheTHDshouldoperate;a)atmaximumrateofturn20°/s;b)from70°latitudesouthto70°latitudenorthasminimum.TheTHDscomplyingwiththerequirementscontainedinthispartofISO22090canbeusedforheadinginformationascontainedinchapterVoftheSOLASConvention.However,shipswithinaspeedrangeof30knotsto70knotsshouldcomplywiththerequirementsofIMOResolutionA.821(19)Inaddition,suchTHDsshouldmeetthedynamicrequirementscontainedintheHSCCode,chapter13forthecarriageofasuitabledeviceprovidingheadinginformation.NOTE1Severaltechnologiescanbeusedtodetectandtransmitheadinginformation.Itisillogicaltostandardizethedetectionoftheheadingseparatelyfromthetransmissionoftheheading.Therefore,separatepartsofthispartofISO22090refertodifferenttechnologies.TherequirementsofthispartofISO22090onlyapplytogyroscopictechnology.OthertechnologiesarecoveredinotherpartsofISO22090.NOTE2AllrequirementsthatareextractedfromtherecommendationsofIMOResolutionMSC.116(73)onperformancestandardsfortransmittingheadingdevicesareprintedinitalics.
